Hi, I'm Faith Davis and I'm currently at IMS 2023 in Athens. And one of the most exciting things for me so far has been, I guess, the shift in emphasis. So previously, as clinicians and investigators, we've very much concentrated on myeloma itself. However, now, because of the new diagnostic tools and the new scientific tools, a lot of our work is now concentrating on MGUS and smoldering myeloma. The two conditions can occur prior to the development of myeloma. And what we've been finding is that we can not only look at the myeloma cell itself very early on in these diseases, but we can also look at the changes in the immune system. And the importance about that is the more we learn about this early stage, the better chance we have about thinking about approaches to try and tackle myeloma way, way, way back before it actually occurs. So hopefully it will open up ideas about thinking about ways we could maybe treat patients with MGUS with non-toxic treatments, but hopefully stopping them going forward to develop myeloma.
