Hello, my name is Krzysztof Jamroziak. I'm working for Medical University of Warsaw in Poland and I'm representing Polish Myeloma Consortium. Here on the IHA, I will be presenting results of our phase 2 clinical trial on deratumumab for minimal residual disease recurrence. Minimal residual disease or measurable residual disease is the minimal extent of disease detected in the bone marrow below the sensitivity of normal tests like made on the blood like electrophoresis or immunofixation. And it is known that the disease returns firstly at this level and then we can detect it in the blood by electrophoresis. So we tested whether we can delay clinical progression or significant biochemical progression by giving a single agent deratumumab and it was compared with observation. There were 54 patients included to the trial and 24 of them relapsed with this minimal residual disease detectable without the signs of biochemical or clinical progression. And half of the patients received deratumumab while the reminder were observed. And we found that we can delay para protein or clinical progression by we can delay it significantly compared to the observation and the reduction of the risk was 80%. And this treatment was well tolerated and did not affect patient's quality of life. Probably in the routine practice we will not use single agent deratumumab because the landscape of treatment in myeloma changed a lot during the time the trial was conducted. But it is a proof of concept study for future larger clinical trials with newer methods of monitoring of this minimal residual disease and novel treatments. Thank you.
