[Music] how should patients react to setbacks setbacks do occur and I think the first relapse is always the hardest relapse because you're very very hopeful when you start treatment and you you're responding positively and you sometimes even forget that you may have myeloma if you're having that bit of a response and then you relapse and it's natural to be upset I think and it's okay to be upset but once you get over the shock that your relapsed and now need to look for another treatment being the person that I am I think the best way is to start asking questions as to what would be my next best treatment option Bay I believe at any point of relapse that you should also be set seeking a second or third opinion because many doctors have different views on what that next treatment should be you may also want to talk to a mentor or coach someone who's been in that position and speak with them on what they did next how did they react to it and it's time to bring in your whole big support team to help you deal with that relapse to find the resources you need to make the treatment decision may be to support you on the psychosocial level and just to get you through there [Music]
