What is botanical medicine?

Botanical medicine or herbal medicine is looking at natural supplements or, herbs from plants that may be used for their, properties to help with symptoms or anti-cancer effects. And, there's always a push from patients and, people who want to use more natural options than using drugs. Often, though, it's important to know many drugs are derived from natural or supplements.

And then they are, more concentrated forms that are dosed accordingly. So it's important to understand that, you know, the two fields sort of have some overlap. But I think herbal medicine is something that's getting prominence. And integrative specialist naturopaths, people you can go to to discuss.
