0What is antibody interference?

so Daratumumab and isatuximab and elotuzumab. They're all antibody drugs and so they're actually picked up when you start doing things like a serum protein electrophoresis or a test called immunofixation, you can actually find those antibodies in the blood. And if you're looking for disappearance of all antibody to be a factor to say you're in remission, those antibodies can interfere with that determination. I'd also include, for example, Balantamab There are some specific tests you can order to try to eliminate that, but it's not routinely done in most places. So that sometimes interferes with a determination if somebody is in a complete remission.
