What is known about the relationship between obesity and cancer?

there is a strong link that obesity has been associated with cancer.

Though the risk is dependent on the cancer type.

So the International Agency for Research on Cancer actually published in the NEJM in 2016, they reviewed over 1000 epidemiologic studies and combined and published their summary data. And what they said is that there's sufficient evidence for 13 different cancers and amongst those 13 multiple myeloma is one of them.
