Very likely, yes. A lot of this is an area of active research, though I think one of the perhaps clearer examples is with diseases where immune checkpoint blockade is used, it's been found that individuals with specific microbial signatures seem to be more likely to respond to immune checkpoint blockade.

And in fact, researchers have used fecal transplant experiments or specific bacterial product administration as a method to enhance the efficacy of immune checkpoint blockade. This is not something that's been used in myeloma, but I think that this still remains an area of active interest in study to understand how specific drugs might be effective.
