How are Bispecific antibodies used in combination with other anti myeloma therapy?

So the combinations of of bispecifics these is actively investigated and the thing is that the antibodies which are bispecific, they are targeting T cells and they direct them against the myeloma cells. But if we combine them with another drug, they can actually potentiate the T cells.

Maybe this will allow the bispecific to have more soldiers to work with and to bring to the myeloma. So, for example, there is studies looking at combinations of teclistamab together with daratumumab. Also with talquetamab another Bispecific together with Dara. And now there is a trial they called Monumental three actually looking at the talquetamab together with daratumumab and pomalidomide.

So the idea here is beyond the synergy of the anti myeloma effect. actually to be able to potentiate the T cells and help the bispecifics get more soldiers to the battle against the myeloma. And we are already seeing some positive results from these studies.

So, absolutely. So we have we have some early phase data of the combination of daratumumab and teclistamab. And, you know, we saw promising response rates, we saw response rates even in people who were previously refractory to daratumumab. So theoretically, the answer is yes, and this is being studied now. So, for example, Janssen has an entire platform of trials in which they're using teclistamab, which is a bispecific antibody.

So they are studying it at at first relapse. So at first relapse patients are being either given daratumumab and teclistamab or they're given a choice of two. daratumumab based three drug combinations. So we are combining it with daratumumab. There's some newly diagnosed trials where it's being combined with... where teclistamab is being combined with REVLIMID and daratumumab.

So there's definitely an area of further investigation and these drugs are probably going to be used in combination provided that those combinations are safe.

So currently that is there are ongoing studies that investigate combination therapy of bispecific with drugs such as Darzalex, daratumumab and immunomodulatory, just like Pomalidomide. So we've had presentations at ASCO with this combination which is talquetamab, which is a GPRC5D bispecific antibody in combination with DARZALEX.

And we also have this interesting study actually the first to report where they used a combination of teclistamab, which is a BCMA targeting BISPECIFIC antibody in combination with talquetamab, which is a GPRC5D Bispecific antibody. So there are lot of enthusiasm with combination therapy. And what we have seen across the board is that the overall response rate goes up.

But then there's also some hints of increased rates of infection when we use a combination therapy.
