What is the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health?

What is the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health? It's one of the main institutes at National Institutes of Health, and it really focuses on the area of integrative medicine.

It looks at these integrative approaches, which include things like acupuncture massage and mind body medicine, meditation, art, music therapy, and how do we bring that all together as part of mainstream medicine.

The National Cancer Institute also has a subset office where they're looking at complementary alternative medicine, integrative approaches as well. So NCI has a group also focuses specifically in the cancer arena.
