How is frailty defined? What does it mean to be fit, intermediate fit, or frail? So frailty is really a concept. When we think about it, there isn't a universal definition for frailty, but one of the most commonly recognized definitions is really something called the Freed-Frailty Index or Freed-Frailty Phenotype. And what that really is, is it defines frailty as a clinical syndrome in which patients are characterized more in terms of slowing down, they have this general sense of exhaustion and weight loss, and these are generally the things that we look for when we think about what classifying a patient as being frail. In terms of thinking about intermediate fit and how we classify this, we think of fitness and frailty as existing on a spectrum or on a continuum. And so the terms intermediate fit, fit, and frail really came out of this myeloma-specific scores that we think about, such as the International Myeloma Working Group and the Vice Myeloma Comorbidity Index. And we use these classifications to really understand how a patient's fitness level may change across a continuum. And these additive scores are what we use to classify them into these three categories.
