[Music] What is an informed consent form? That's a form that patients look over prior to a clinical trial that informs them about all the pros and cons of being on the trial, what the potential safety issues are with the drugs. To make sure that the patient really understands what they're getting into when they're going on a clinical trial. Informed consent is one of the most important parts of a clinical trial. Informed consent form is a document that a patient needs to sign. And this document outlines the most important aspects of the clinical trial, including potential benefits, potential risks, requirements that the patient will have to agree to to go on the clinical trial. This document is a single document that allows patients to sort of enter the world of that clinical trial. [Music]
