Hi. My name is Beth Faiman, and I am a nurse practitioner at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. And I'm so pleased to be here at ASH, the 66th Annual Meeting. My first meeting was in 2005, in sunny San Diego. And so it's just been such a different experience, especially because there's so many advances in myeloma.

So my paper that I had today was actually a collaboration with HealthTree. We did a study about patient experiences with talquetamab. Now as you know, talquetamab is a GPRC5D bispecific that has unique toxicities such as skin and nail and taste changes. So the big question was how do patients feel about taking this drug.

So in the study there was a small two-step process. First there was about 12 physicians and patients that worked together in a room. And then the second step was one-off interviews.

And what was interesting in the study, as that most patients were really happy with talquetamab despite the side effects. We also learned about strategies that helped them, such as lozenges to help with their dry mouth and then the taste changes. Aggressive lotioning for skin problems as well as antihistamines for rashes.

In summary, this study was really reflecting the patient experiences and how the physicians and patients worked to manage the side effects. And again, overwhelmingly, the patients were happy with the drug mostly because it was effective in controlling their myeloma, producing deep responses.
