Hi, my name is Camila Guerrero and I am a PhD student at Bruno Paiva's lab in Pamplona, Spain. I've been working for a little bit over three years in the characterization of MRD clones, MRD measurable residual disease in myeloma patients from bone marrow aspirates and I'm here at the International Myeloma Workshop where yesterday we presented an abstract titled predictors of unsustained MRD negativity in transplant eligible myeloma patients where we described novel risk factors that could impact unsustained MRD negative rates. We actually showed that high percentages of circulating tumor cells at baseline do correspond with lower rates of sustained MRD negative rates. Actually in my PhD I've also been researching the biology of the MRD clone and we've been developing novel techniques to characterize MRD and circulating tumor cells and possibly perform MRD assessments in peripheral blood so that we can have this minimally invasive methods and have even more sensitive techniques to assess the response of patients. Yeah, so that's it. Thank you.
