STUDY IMPACT
Even though they’re preventable, blood clots still affect—and sometimes claim—the lives of people with multiple myeloma. You can help researchers learn why.
This study aims to understand how and why blood clots occur in people with multiple myeloma. These clots may develop in the veins (such as deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism) or arteries (such as stroke or heart attack). By sharing your experience, you’ll help researchers find better ways to prevent clots and improve care for everyone living with myeloma.
The study is led by the HealthTree Foundation, in collaboration with Huntsman Cancer Institute and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
WHO CAN JOIN
All multiple myeloma patients can join this study, whether or not you’ve ever had a blood clot.
