Follow-Up Testing: What to Expect at 100 Days Post-Transplant

Last updated on: 3/25/2025

Expect office visits and blood work every 3–4 weeks for the first 100 days.

At 100 days post-ASCT, your doctor will conduct tests to assess how well the transplant has lowered your cancer markers. These tests typically include:

  • Bone marrow biopsy
  • 24-hour urine test
  • Skeletal survey or CT scans
  • Blood work

Based on your results, your specialist will recommend a maintenance therapy, which often includes an iMiD (e.g., Revlimid), but can also include steroids (e.g., dexamethasone), and possibly chemotherapy.

One-year post-ASCT, expect a full evaluation including scans and bloodwork.
