Many MGUS and Smoldering Myeloma Patients experience side effects like bone pain, fatigue, anemia, etc. but are not sure if it has to do with the precursor disease or if it's caused by other factors.

Unfortunately this means that all MGUS and Smoldering Myeloma patients should ALWAYS see a myeloma specialist if they are experiencing symptoms of the kind. However, that doesn't mean those side effects can't be effectively managed through patient-lead solutions.

He specializes in patient experience, helping patients understand their options, and becoming decision makers with their care teams. Prior experience includes IT development projects at Intermountain HealthCare and UnitedHealthcare. Todd has a passion for using technology that can help patients have a better life, and along the way, help to further research for a cure.

While not knowing much about myeloma at the start, she has since worked hard to educate herself, empathize and learn from others' experiences. She loves this job.
