While not knowing much about myeloma at the start, she has since worked hard to educate herself, empathize and learn from others' experiences. She loves this job. Kurt Kausch, MS, PhD, APN, AOCNS, ACRN

Kurt is excited to share how to have the most informed discussion with your care team. Kurt works as a Sr. Oncology Clinical Educator for Janssen in the Rocky Mountain territory. He is a Master’s prepared oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) who also holds a PhD in molecular biology/genetic engineering. He has nearly 15 years of oncology nursing experience within the inpatient & outpatient settings as well as the pharmaceutical sector as a nurse educator & Medical Science Liaison (MSL). Kurt holds ACRN, AOCNS®, & OCN® nursing certifications.

Heather Hanneman, BSN, OCN

Heather can’t wait to share the type of support available through Janssen Compass™, for which she currently works as a Care Navigator in the Illinois/Michigan territory. Heather is a lifetime “Michigander” completing my BA at Michigan State University in 1998 and her BSN at Wayne State University in 2007. Heather worked at Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, MI for 13 years. Nine of those years were on an inpatient Oncology unit and four years in an oncology urgent care clinic. Heather became an Oncology Certified Nurse in 2019.
