02:00PM - 03:00PM EST
Online Event
Overview

Join us as Dr. Shakira Grant breaks down what artificial intelligence means for our health and our care. AI is showing up more in medicine, and many of us have questions. What does it actually do? How is it being used in cancer care right now? And what does it mean for patients and families?

Dr. Grant will explain the basics in everyday language, share how AI is being used in cancer care today, and talk about where it can help and where we need to be cautious. We’ll also discuss concerns around trust, bias, and privacy, and the kinds of questions we can ask to stay informed and involved in decisions about our care.

This session is about clarity, confidence, and making sure our community is prepared for what's here and what’s coming next in healthcare technology.
