As immunocompromised individuals, multiple myeloma patients live with a higher risk of infection. Vaccinations are an incredible way to prevent common infections that could otherwise be detrimental to a myeloma patient's health. The purpose of this presentation is to help enhance and encourage informative discussions with your healthcare team regarding vaccinations and prevention of infection in patients with multiple myeloma.

Audrey joined the HealthTree Foundation as the Myeloma Community Program Director in 2020. While not knowing much about myeloma at the start, she has since worked hard to educate herself, empathize and learn from others' experiences. She loves this job. Audrey is passionate about serving others, loves learning, and enjoys a nice mug of hot chocolate no matter the weather.

Tara Roy, MS, NP, AOCNP

Tara Roy has more than 30 years of experience in cancer care. Se has extensive experience providing care to those with hematological malignancies and undergoing blood and marrow transplant. Also she helps patients navigate the physical and psycho social challenges of cancer survivorship.
