Florida Myeloma Community Event: How to Talk to Friends/Family About Diagnosis
The Florida Myeloma Community gathers to discuss how to tell your friends and family about your diagnosis, and how to continue those conversations.
Some people are hesitant to share the diagnosis with others, and some choose intentionally not to share the diagnosis with anyone.
Other myeloma patients are looking for ways to let their loved ones know it's ok to bring up the diagnosis, are wondering how to discuss their diagnosis with younger children/grandchildren, or telling their family that even though they don't "look" sick, precautions are still necessary to stay healthy.
No matter which of these type of patients you resonate with, you are welcome to join our group discussion. We look forward to your thoughts and insights as we support each other.
Audrey introduces the agenda of the event.
