The purpose of the SoCal Myeloma Community Chapter (SMCC) is to connect, educate, and support myeloma patients and caregivers throughout Southern California and surrounding regions.
The April meeting will focus on building and growing your myeloma community, Step #1 in the #CureinFive initiative. Working together we can help each other achieve better long-term health and speed the discovery of a cure. This interactive meeting will focus on:
- The challenges, successes, and tips for building a comprehensive care team in southern California
- The value of coaching/mentoring programs
- The current needs and best practices for ongoing patient/caregiver/supporter education and connection
