David Coffey, MD spends significant time performing myeloma research and providing care for the in-patient myeloma service. His research focus includes work on the immune system to determine changes happening following immunotherapies. 

His care includes in-patient care for sicker paitents and service for patients who are receiving teclistamab, the bispecific antibody. Prior to his work at the Sylvester Cancer Center at the University of Miami, he was heavily involved with myeloma patient and stem cell transplant care at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center.
