Carlos E. Arce-Lara, MD is a Board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist.  Dr. Arce-Lara was drawn to oncology through a personal experience with a family member.  He knew his calling was to help patients and their families during this difficult time, through diagnosis and treatment.  Dr. Arce-Lara feels privileged to offer personal care to each patient.

Dr. Arce-Lara has a special interest in multiple myeloma.  This bone marrow cancer can mimic other diseases and have multiple presentations, making it very complex.  He is intrigued by this unique cancer and will continue his research into different ways to treat this type of cancer. For Dr. Arce-Lara, the most rewarding part of his job is being the leader of a team that cares deeply about their patients and their families.
