Maurizio Zangari, M.D., is a Professor of Medicine with the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy at UAMS. Dr. Zangari trained as a fellow in Bone Marrow Transplant and Hematology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and a resident in Internal Medicine at Wykoff Heights Medical Center, also in New York. He earned his M.D. from the University of Padua in Italy.

Dr. Zangari was previously at the Myeloma Institute from 1998-2007 and was most recently affiliated with the University of Utah. He is an internationally recognized expert in multiple myeloma with an extensive bibliography of peer-reviewed articles and invited presentations. Dr. Zangari is board certified in Hematology and Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology.
