A Story of Hope with Myeloma Patient Jim Bond
Join myeloma patient James (Jim) Bond and his wonderful wife, Kathleen as they share their story of hope. Jim has been the recipient of four Stem Cell Transplants to date and attributes much of his current wellbeing and quality of life to his fitness experiences. Jim and Kathleen Bond advocate for cancer patients and have shared their survival story in 40 US states, as well as in DC at the National Science Foundation. They also shared their story with groups in New Zealand, Spain, Japan, and Canada. Their story is the subject of Jim’s book, The Man in the Arena: Surviving Multiple Myeloma Since 1992. All profits from their book go to charity.
Come with your questions for Jim about how he has kept hope alive during his many years of survivorship.
