Abdulraheem Yacoub, MD

Dr. Abdulraheem Yacoub is a professor of Hematologic malignancies and Cellular Therapies at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Yacoub earned his medical degree from Jordan University in Amman, Jordan, in 2003 before completing a hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of Arkansas. Dr. Yacoub is internationally recognized for his work in myeloproliferative neoplasms; his clinic at the University of Kansas is recognized as both a Key member of the NIH-funded consortium dedicated to the research of MPNs as well as an MPN Center of Excellence. Dr. Yacoub has been honored through numerous awards and invitations to speak throughout his career. He also serves as the lead global clinical investigator and global lead for the LIMBER clinical trials, which aim to refine the most effective upfront therapy in myelofibrosis.
