I am a board-certified Hematologist and Oncologist at Mayo Clinic with experience in complex medical practice, basic science research, and clinical trials.

I have a particular interest in Experimental and Translational Medicine that explores the application of novel diagnostic and treatment approaches in hematological cancers.
My laboratory interests in the area of hematological cancers include: 1) whole genome mutation profiling of cancer samples, 2) correlative studies to identify predictors of drug response and toxicity, 3) study of novel biomarkers that have prognostic value, and 4) development, validation and incorporation of new diagnostic tests.
My clinical research interests are in the area of novel therapeutics. I have served as Principal Investigator for Phase I-III clinical trials testing new drugs in hematological cancers.
