Event Description

Clinical trials are a crucial part of moving us closer to an AML and MDS cure. Although they play such a large role in patient care, many patients have questions about clinical trials. How do they work? What is expected of them if they enroll? How safe are they?

Join us for this crash course in all things clinical trials. Get answers to the above questions and more when Logan Murray, PA-C from Tampa General Hospital helps debunk common myths and walks us through everything you need to know about clinical trials. Come ready with your questions for the discussion based Q&A at the end of the presentation!

Mary joined HealthTree in 2022. She is now the AML & MDS Community and Education Manager. She is passionate about giving power to patients through knowledge and health education. If she can help one patient feel more confident participating in discussions with their healthcare team and making treatment decisions, she will feel like she has succeeded. When she isn't advocating for patients, she loves being an aunt, attending concerts, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
