About

For more than 30 years, I’ve helped cancer patients and their families manage both the disease and their entire care experience—while developing effective and compassionate clinical services for use by patient and healthcare providers.

With three decades of executive experience as a physician, teacher, scholar, and health care administrator, I have expert knowledge of the entire cancer journey. I understand the fears that patients and their families face. And I’m committed to reducing the barriers that keep clinicians from providing the best care possible. By combining disease-directed therapies with more palliative approaches, I take a holistic, patient-centered view of the art and science of cancer care.
