Dr. Kami Maddocks, an investigator on the SWOG 1608 trial, joins HealthTree to discuss protocol, enrollment, and progress of the clinical trial. SWOG 1608 is a currently enrolling clinical trial for patients with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma.

The panelist Dr. Kami Maddocks
Dr. Kami Maddocks
Columbus, Ohio

Dr. Kami Maddocks is a hematologist who specializes in treating patients with B-cell malignancies. She also serve as a professor in the Division of Hematology at The Ohio State University and as medical director of infusion services at The James. Dr. Maddocks received her medical degree from the University of South Dakota, followed by an internal medicine internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She completed her fellowship in hematology/oncology at The Ohio State University and stayed on to join the hematology team. Dr. Moddocks has board certification in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Kami Maddocks serves as an investigator on several clinical trials in lymphoma, most of which are evaluating non-chemotherapeutic approaches to the treatment of lymphoma. She also serves on the Alliance Lymphoma Committee, a multi-institution working group to develop clinical trials in lymphoma that can be done across several institutions.

Dalton joined HealthTree in 2024 as the CLL and MF Education Manager. He is passionate about helping patients gain a better understanding of their health and treatment and sees it as a way to help empower individuals and their families who are affected by these diseases. Prior to joining HealthTree Dalton earned a Master’s Degree in Oncological Sciences while studying various different blood cancers. When not interacting with patients he is an avid snowboarder and hiker.
