Nicky was a young working mother when she was diagnosed with stage four follicular lymphoma. During her treatment, Nicky became fascinated with how food affects the body and health. Although a tough journey, Nicky's diagnosis inspired her to go back to school to earn a degree in nutrition. Nicky joins HealthTree to share gratitude for her diagnosis.

Speakers & Moderators
Nicky Greenhalgh was diagnosed with Stage IV Grade 2 Follicular Non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 2014, when she was just 32 years old living in Western Australia with her husband and two kids. Nicky had not long ago had her youngest child and was working full-time as a mortgage broker when she was diagnosed. At the time, she was told that her life expectancy was 10 years. Now 10 years later, Nicky shares her story that began as a daunting battle against illness and depression which ultimately led her to discover a new passion for patient advocacy and career as a clinical nutritionist.
Kat is from Lehi, Utah and is the Health Education Manager for lymphoma. She has worked in healthcare for a decade now, and earned her degree in Community Health Education and Promotion. Kat is passionate about disease prevention as well as improving quality of life and health equity. She enjoys reading, hiking, baking, ice skating, gardening, time with her family and friends, and most of all, spoiling her nieces and nephew.
