Overview

Thanks to grant funding, the HealthTree community is invited to participate in an eight-week reflective journaling and creativity live online workshop this summer! This chapter event will explore how journaling and visual art supports your own personal recovery, growth and change. Julie and Eileen will conduct a sample expressive writing and visual art activity and provide a brief overview of the free workshop. 

Objectives:

  • Explore the importance of self-worth in recovery
  • Engage in expressive writing and arts activities to explore, reflect, and grow
  • Learn more about a free, eight-week expressive writing and visual arts workshop offered this summer to the HealthTree community

Eileen Doyle, CRSW

Eileen Doyle facilitates Journal Writing Workshops that focus on self-discovery, healing and growth. She is a Certified Journaling Facilitator through the Therapeutic Writing Institute in Denver and has designed and facilitated workshops for cancer patients, people in recovery from drug and alcohol dependency, recovery support workers and prison inmates. A former high school teacher for 23 years, she now works in the field of addiction recovery as a training coordinator.
