Mary Arnett

Mary joined HealthTree in 2022 as a part of HealthTree's team to help expand into all blood cancers. She now works as HealthTree's Volunteer & Community Outreach Manager, helping to engage and involve community members in HealthTree's mission. When she isn't working, she loves being the fun aunt to her 13 nieces and nephews, attending concerts, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and traveling to explore new cities.

Catherine Lai, MD, MPH

After completing internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois Chicago, Dr. Lai completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Lai also received her master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology from George Washington University. Prior to joining Penn, Dr. Lai served as the Director of Leukemia at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in Washington, DC. In her current role, she is the Physician Leader of the Leukemia Clinical Research Unit and Medical Director of the outpatient hematologic malignancies clinic. She is also Co- Director of the Penn Geriatric Oncology Core which focuses on the complete care of older adults with cancer.
