Treating hematology disorders, with a focus on leukemias and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCY), including all phases of treatment. Emphasizes provision of comprehensive and compassionate care to patients and their support, while applying the latest advances, therapies, and available knowledge. Research efforts concentrate on leukemias, as a member of national working groups and leader for the Loyola Leukemia Research program, as well as in HCT.
