CAR-T cell therapy retrains your own T cells to recognize and attack cancer. In this HealthTree video, we explain what T cells are, what the chimeric antigen receptor does, and each major step: T-cell collection, manufacturing (often 4 to 6 weeks), bridging therapy, lymphodepleting chemotherapy, the infusion, and about 30 days of monitoring afterward. You'll also learn how long the whole process typically takes, often 2 to 3 months from collection to infusion.
