Description

Daejin Abidoye, MD, of AbbVie discusses phase 3 CERVINO trial results for etentamig, a BCMA-targeting bispecific antibody, at IMS 2026 in Glasgow. He explains how T-cell engagers connect the immune system to myeloma cells, and describes the trial's heavily pretreated, triple-class exposed patients. Early results showed improved response rates and progression-free survival, with lower rates of infection, CRS and neurotoxicity than typical for this class. Overall survival data are still early.

Disclosure: Dr. Abidoye is an employee of AbbVie, the company developing etentamig.
