Description

Jeffrey Zonder, MD, of Karmanos Cancer Institute discusses first results from the IBEX study of iberdomide plus subcutaneous daratumumab as maintenance after stem cell transplant at IMS 2026 in Glasgow. Some patients still have detectable myeloma even after quadruplet induction and transplant. He reviews the side effects seen, including infections, rashes and low white blood cell counts, with no new safety signals. Early results suggest the combination can deepen responses and help some patients become MRD negative.
