Who are the best doctors to treat CMML?

Many specialists in hematology oncology may only see a few patients with CMML in their entire careers.

So I think it's important to at least have a consultation with a specialist who is a leukemia specialist, and even better, would be a leukemia specialist who has, expertise in CMML or MDS-MPN overlap syndromes.

And so there's only several centers in the country, truthfully, who really do this well.

So seeing if someone there at least once, if that's capable, will be ideal. But aside from that, seeing a hematology oncology doctor, particularly one with expertise in leukemia would be the best person to really evaluate a disease like CMML.
