My clinical interests include diagnosis of hematologic neoplasms (both leukemias and lymphomas) and cancer cytogenetics. My major research interests include characterization and risk stratification of cytogenetic abnormalities in various types of hematological malignancies, discovery and characterization of novel cytogenetic abnormalities and their association with clinicopathologic features. I am also interested in characterization of clinically indolent cytogenetic clones, especially those emerged following cytotoxic therapies.
