I’m high risk IgA lambda non secretory MM and currently on maintenance treatment of DVRd after stem cell transplant in Sept, 2021. I also started Xgeva every month in March, 2021 until now. I also have osteoporosis. It is recommended to transition off Xgeva after being on it for 2 years and take Zometa for a month. If you have osteoporosis and transitioned off Xgeva, what med do you take for osteoporosis and how long have you remained on it? Frequency? Did your bone marrow biopsies change after being off of Xgeva? Sounds like Xgeva and dexamethasone also help fight the myeloma. What dosage and frequency for dexamethasone? Also know that Dex can cause bone thinning. Thanks!
