Does anyone with children have experience with cord blood banking? My wife and I are expecting a baby soon and have the option -- though at a substantial cost -- of banking stem cells from the umbilical cord for future use in treatment of close family members (including me, potentially). My oncologist didn't have any particular recommendation, so I'm curious if others here have elected to do this or received guidance from their care teams?
