Hi. I was recently diagnosed with MDS with Anemia. My doctor is monitoring my hemoglobin and will start injections with hormones if it drops below a certain level. I want to learn all I can do I can be prepared if necessary. I read that MDS typically is found in patients 60 years of age or older. But I had a second cousin who died from this when she was 26. There is a lot of cancer on my Mom's side of the family. I want to know what I can do for the anemia. If anyone has any suggestions please reach out to me. I plan on attending the session at UCF on Saturday. Linda
