Understanding Confusing Clonoseq Results
AI-generated title
Has anyone received a Clonoseq report that has <1 under "ESTIMATED SEQUENCE ABUNDANCE (RESIDUAL CLONAL CELLS PER MILLION NUCLEATED CELLS)"? Does your dotor say that you are MRD negative?
Apparently <1 is NOT the same as "not detected." My report headline said "Residual Sequence Detected" due to this <1 finding.
Im wondering if there are Clonoseq report that say NO RESIDUAL SEQUENCE DETECTED or MRD NEGATIVE as a headline? I ask this because the report says "residual sequence detected" and " 1 of the 3 dominant sequences identified in a diagnostic sample from this patient was still present in this current sample" yet my doctor is telling me that I am MRD negative? Does anyone understand this?
All comments/thoughts pertaining to Clonoseq appreciated. Thank you.
