I’ve been waiting for doctor/hospital to get insurance pre-authorization for DKRd regimen for newly diagnosed MM. Treatment is scheduled to start in about two weeks, and I find the lack of clarity and urgency on the financial side disturbing. I’ve asked the doctor’s staff, called the hospital’s billing department directly, etc. without a useful response. Is this normal? Suggestions?
