Throughout her myeloma journey, Valarie Traynham had to learn how to become her own best advocate and make her voice heard. Join us for the launch of the African American Myeloma Chapter and hear from Valarie as she shares her experience and advice. There will be a group discussion at the end of this meeting. This is a Google Meet meeting. You do not need a Gmail account to join. If you are connecting via mobile phone, please make sure that you have downloaded the Google Meet app. If you have any questions, please contact audrey@healthtree.org.
Audrey joined the Myeloma Crowd as the Community Manager in 2020 after previously working in the nonprofit field for 4 years as a director of Fundraising and Development. She graduated from BYU with a major in Spanish and Nonprofit Management. Audrey is passionate about serving others, loves learning, and enjoys a nice mug of hot chocolate no matter the weather.
“I became a Myeloma Coach after meeting many patients who did not have a peer mentor to ask questions and find relevant information about myeloma.”
Thank you for your interest in the event. If you have any questions, we would love to help!
