Experiences With Isa-Kd Treatment?
AI-generated title
Hi I will be starting a new treatment soon called Isa KD Isatuximab Carfilzomib and Dexamethasone. I am out of remission from my Stem Cell transplant after only 2 1/2 years, so I’ve been classed as high risk. I’m feeling very down about this treatment as it’s an every week transfusion for a while then every week for 3 weeks with a week off. I live in Canada so treatments may be different here, has anyone had this treatment? And what was your experience. I would be grateful for any information. Thank you

Going Home After ASCT: Questions on Precautions
AI-generated title
I leave the hospital tomorrow after my ASCT. Thank the Lord I did not have any fever, only threw up a few times, and only a few bouts of diarriah. The hospital I am at (In Israel) seems Very conservative in what I need to watch out for when I go home. Questions: 1. (I know I am bringing up a hornets nest...) Do masks work? Should I plan on wearing one even if there are only 1 or 2 people around? And for how long? 2. How careful do I need to be with the sun? They say I should not be out in the sun at all for a year because of the Chemo and chance for secondary cancer. That seems crazy! 3. They say not to go out to eat because you don't know who or how the food was prepared. 4. How careful in general do I need to be regarding being around other people? I was immune compromised before my Stem Cell transplant...I was not so careful then and had no problems... How long do I need to be careful??

CAR-T Experiences & Managing Side Effects
AI-generated title
Hello. I am the caregiver for my husband with multiple myeloma. We, together with our Dr chose to do CAR-T. He had SCT 8 years ago & has been on revlimid. His M-Spike is rising, revlimid is not working any longer. CAR-T is, from what they tell us 1 & done, no maintenance & remission. I would love to hear, the honest truth, from anyone who has gone through this, & your experience, as caregiver & or patient. The side effects are scaring us………..

Anyone Have Experience With TALVEY?
AI-generated title
Good morning all. This is my 5 th year w/ MM. I have gone trough all the normal treatment availabilities suggested by renowned Oncologists at Dana Farber Boston and Sylvester Cancer Center in Miami. My last treatment was Elrexfio every other week with remarkable success results. Remission within 2 month. UNFORTUNATELY, this lasted only for another month w/ my Kappa Lightchain and M-Spike raising again. I am checking in at Dana Farber Brigham Women’s next week for. 10 day test to see if I can handle thee new recommend drug TALVEY. Does anyone have any experience with this drug? Thank you

Managing Benadryl Fatigue: Any Tips?
AI-generated title
I receive a benadryl with Darakex Faspro, Delcade and Lenalidomide. It takes about 2/12 hours to get the pre-meds and the injections. The worst part is that I then have to drive home (30 minutes) and I sleep the next ten hours because I am so sensitive to the Benadryl. Sometimes these appointments are at 10 AM and ruins the next 24 hours for me with fatigue and grogginess. Is the benadryl really necessary and/or do you have any advice for how to navigate? Requesting later appointments has already been tried - they are very busy and you "get what you get." Thanks for any thoughts.

Cataract Surgery on Revlimid: Any Experiences?
AI-generated title
I was wondering about anyone had cataract surgery and their feedbacks. I was diagnosed with MM in January 2024 and went through induction treatment of DVD. I did not have ASCT and now on maintenance care of revlimid 5mg 21days and monthly injection of Darzalex. My oncologist recommend I stop revlimid 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after surgery. My myeloma specialist at UCSF said that is not necessary. I appreciate your feedbacks.
