Sometimes, going to a healthcare appointment alone can feel overwhelming. Having a loved one come with you can help carry some of the weight when addressing all concerns and questions. They can help you write down important information and remind you of questions you wanted to ask. Having a care partner involved helps with communication, memory, and emotional support. Additionally, a caregiver also plays an important role in CAR T-cell therapy and should attend appointments.

Your care partner can also ask questions and together find the best way to support you during and after therapy.
