Dancing Through Myeloma (A Live Exercise Demo)

Audrey joined the HealthTree Foundation as the Myeloma Community Program Director in 2020. While not knowing much about myeloma at the start, she has since worked hard to educate herself, empathize and learn from others' experiences. She loves this job. Audrey is passionate about serving others, loves learning, and enjoys a nice mug of hot chocolate no matter the weather.

For most of my career, I've been a professional artist with a concentration on murals, commissions and interior finishes. From a very young age, I loved drawing from nature and experimenting with a wide variety of art media. In addition to my love of art, I have a passion for health and healthy movement With a background in clinical care coordination, meditation instruction, and health coaching, I am committed to providing accessible and inclusive movement classes that meet the needs of all students. I have been teaching yoga since 1995, and have seen its ability to transform lives. Teaching chair-based yoga to special populations has also become a big part of my professional career. In 2015, I began teaching “Pam’s Class,” at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Based on the LEBED method, this movement class is primarily for women with lymphedema as a result of surgery and/or chemotherapy. I’ve been the Visual Arts Specialist for the Arts & Humanities Department at Darmouth Health since 2020 and enjoy guiding inpatients and outpatient groups through therapueitic art experiences. With a degree in Fine Arts, I love teaching art to "non-artists." I believe that everyone has the creative potential, and I enjoy helping people tap into the healing that “playing” with art can bring. When I’m not teaching, practicing yoga or making art, you can find me either traveling, or at home in West Lebanon, NH - gardening, hanging out with our two challenging rescue dogs, taking horseback lessons, and trying to find wonder in the smallest of life’s details.
