Dalton Bean

Dalton joined HealthTree in 2024 as the MPNs and MDS Program Manager. He is passionate about helping patients gain a better understanding of their health and treatment and sees it as a way to help empower individuals and their families who are affected by these diseases. Prior to joining HealthTree Dalton earned a Master’s Degree in Oncological Sciences while studying various different blood cancers. When not interacting with patients he is an avid snowboarder and hiker.

Dr. Elizabeth Griffiths

Dr. Elizabeth Griffiths is the Director of MDS and a Clinical Disease Team Leader at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an MDS Foundation-designated Center of Excellence. A recognized expert in hematologic oncology, she specializes in the treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and bone marrow failure, with a research focus on immuno-epigenetics and the use of hypomethylating drugs in myeloid malignancies. Additionally, Dr. Griffiths serves as the Director for Liquid Tumor in the Center for Early Phase Clinical Trials and is an Associate Professor at the University at Buffalo. She is triple-board certified in hematology, oncology, and internal medicine, and has co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications dedicated to advancing the treatment of blood disorders.
