Dalton Bean

Dalton joined HealthTree in 2024 as the MPNs and MDS Program Manager. He is passionate about helping patients gain a better understanding of their health and treatment and sees it as a way to help empower individuals and their families who are affected by these diseases. Prior to joining HealthTree Dalton earned a Master’s Degree in Oncological Sciences while studying various different blood cancers. When not interacting with patients he is an avid snowboarder and hiker.

Anand Patel

Anand Patel, MD, is board-certified hematologist-oncologist and an expert in treating myeloproliferative diseases, myelodysplastic syndromes and leukemia. In addition to providing his patients with standard treatment approaches such as chemotherapy and targeted therapies, Dr. Patel is also committed to delivering novel therapies through clinical trials that combine basic and translational research into groundbreaking advancements in medicine for better outcomes and quality of life. Dr. Patel’s research interests are geared towards the development of clinical trials that help improve the standard of care for patients with high-risk leukemias and myeloid malignancies. His research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, such as Blood Advances, British Journal of Haematology, Cancer, JCI Insight and Bone Marrow Transplantation. In 2024, Dr. Patel was named to the 40 Under 40 in Cancer, an award that recognizes him as one of the nation's most promising young oncology professionals and celebrates his contributions to improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
